My 2 year journey begins...

Training is over! Friday morning we swore in as volunteers and I head out to site on Tuesday. Swear-in day was a blast. The ceremony was held at the ambassador's residence which is absolutely beautiful. We had a few hours of paperwork stuff at the bureau and then the 27 of us headed back to the ambassador's house for a bbq and pool party!! I would LOVE to enter the foriegn service some day... That evening we went out in Bamako with some current volunteers and danced until our feet broke (that's a Malian expression...strange). Im out of time...Ill update again with lots of news from Tioribougou!
